LEXINGTON, Ky. — Freshman Matthew St. Cyr wrapped up an impressive first collegiate season on Wednesday morning, competing against the top javelin athletes in the East Region at the NCAA East First Round at the University of Kentucky Track and Field Complex.
St. Cyr finished 39th overall in the javelin with a mark of 60.37 meters. During his standout freshman campaign, he earned bronze at the CAA Outdoor Championships and recorded a personal-best throw of 66.66 meters at the UConn Dog Fight.
Fellow Husky Kyle Sarney will be the next Northeastern athlete in action, competing on Friday, May 29.
