WILMINGTON, N.C. - Jordan Roland scored a game-high 38 points, while Tyson Walker finished with 17 points to lead Northeastern (10-9, 4-3 CAA) in a 76-74 defeat to UNCW (6-15, 1-7 CAA) in overtime on Saturday night at Trask Coliseum. Roland's 38 points was a new record inside Trask.

Maxime Boursiquot led the Huskies on the glass with nine rebounds, while Greg Eboigbodin tallied seven boards in 15 minutes of action. Roland grabbed a career-high seven rebounds.

It looked like the Huskies were well on their way to victory, holding a 57-41 lead with just under 10 minutes remaining in the game. UNCW rallied by shooting 67 percent (14-for-21), including 3-of-7 from long range to outscore Northeastern 25-6 over the final 9:36 to send the game into overtime.

After NU scored the first four points in OT, the Seahawks used an 8-0 run to take a 74-70 lead with 25 seconds remaining. Roland made a jumper with 18 seconds left and after a pair of free throws by UNCW, Walker scored at the basket with 11 seconds left. The Huskies fouled right away and UNCW missed a pair of free throws, but Northeastern turned it over with just over two seconds left in OT. NU was able to create confusion on the in-bounds play and had another shot with 0.6 left on the clock, but it was not enough time to get a shot off.

Brian Tolefree led UNCW with 17 points, while Mike Okauru had 16 for the Seahawks. UNCW shot 51 percent for the game, compared to Northeastern's 41 percent. The Huskies came into the game No. 3 in the country in free throw percentage (.813), but shot a season-low 64 percent (14-for-22) tonight.

The Huskies will return to Matthews Arena for a pair of games next week. Northeastern welcomes Drexel on Thursday night for a 7 p.m. tip on NESN.
