BOSTON - Jordan Roland scored 27 points and Maxime Boursiquot finished with a career-high 18 points as Northeastern (11-10, 5-4 CAA) dropped another tough league contest to Delaware (15-7, 5-4 CAA), 76-74, on Saturday inside Matthews Arena. The Huskies led for over 27 minutes of the game, but the Blue Hens rallied late to get the victory.

Tyson Walker finished with 11 points and six assists for the Huskies, while Myles Franklin went 3-for-3 and finished with eight points.

The Huskies looked in command in the second half, going up by 16 points with just under 12 minutes left in the game, 58-42. The Blue Hens continued to be hot from the floor, shooting a blistering 68 percent (15-for-22) in the second half, and used a 19-5 run over the next five minutes to make it a two-point game, 63-61 (7:13). The Blue Hens eventually took their first lead since the midway point of the first half, as Nate Darling split free throws with 1:27 left in the game.

Roland missed a 3-pointer with 27 seconds left, and after a foul and a pair of misses from the Blue Hens, NU had yet another chance to win the game. Unfortunately, the Huskies turned it over with four seconds left and Delaware sealed the game at the other end.

Darling led all scorers with 34 points, including 9-for-11 from the free-throw line. Kevin Anderson added 12 points, while Ryan Allen finished with 10.

Northeastern will hit the road next week for CAA games at first-place William & Mary and Elon on Thursday and Saturday. Both games can be seen on FloHoops.com.
