ELON, N.C. - Northeastern (11-11, 5-5) hopes to rebound off another tough last-second loss this Saturday as they take on Elon (6-17, 2-8 CAA) in CAA action at the Schar Center. Tip is slated for 4 p.m. and the game will be streamed on FloHoops.com.

The Phoenix and Huskies are No. 1 and 2 in the CAA in 3-pointers made, at 9.9 and 8.9 per game, respectively. Last time the two teams combined to make 19 triples in Boston on Jan. 2nd and freshman point guard Tyson Walker scored a career-high 32 points. That was the fifth-best output by a freshman in the 100 years of basketball at Northeastern.

The Huskies have dropped five games in league play by a total of nine points. First-place William & Mary scored with less than two seconds left on Thursday to snatch the win away from Northeastern, almost identical to what the Tribe did in Matthews Arena in the earlier matchup. The Huskies dropped two-point contests to William & Mary, 66-64 (1/4), Hofstra, 74-72 (1/9), UNCW, 76-74 in OT (1/18), Delaware, 76-74 (1/25) and a one-point loss to the Tribe in Kaplan Arena, 59-58.
MULTIPLE 1,000-POINT SCORERS
Jordan Roland joined senior teammate Bolden Brace by reaching 1,000 points in his Northeastern career on Thursday night. Roland scored 18 points to push his NU career total to 1,008 in 56 games (18.0 ppg). He now has 1,284 points in his four-year career, while Brace ranks No. 32 on the NU all-time scoring list with 1,056.
