BOSTON - Northeastern (9-7, 3-1 CAA) returns to the hardwood this Thursday night in a national spotlight game against Hofstra (12-5, 3-1 CAA) on CBS Sports Network for an 8:05 p.m. tip inside Matthews Arena. The game is a rematch of last year's CAA Championship Game that the Huskies won, 82-74, in Charleston, S.C.

ELITE GUARD PLAY
This game features some of the best guard play in the country. Northeastern's backcourt of Tyson Walker, Jordan Roland and Bolden Brace has helped the Huskies get off to a 3-1 start in conference play. Walker is a four-time CAA Rookie of the Week, and leads the team by scoring 18.5 points per game in CAA play. Roland led the country in scoring through the first month and ranks 14th in the NCAA with 21.2 points per game. Brace is scoring 12.3 points per game in league play and needs two 3-pointers to move into No. 5 all-time in program history.

Hofstra's Desure Buie leads the Pride with 18.8 points per game and scored a career-best 44 in their win over Elon last Saturday. Joining him in the backcourt is senior Eli Pemberton and junior Jalen Ray, averaging 16.0 and 12.4 points per game, respectively.

CHASING 1,000
Brace is just seven points from becoming the 39th player in program history to reach 1,000 in his Northeastern career. Roland surpassed 1,000 in his career vs. Maine (12/4) and has 1,114, 838 of those coming at Northeastern.

HOME COOKING
The Huskies are 26-7 over their last 33 games inside Matthews Arena, and have won 12 of their last 14 CAA games in Boston.

COEN CHASING HISTORY
Fourteenth-year head coach Bill Coen is currently second all-time in school history with 233 wins, trailing Jim Calhoun's 250 from 1972-86. Coen is No. 3 in league history with 155 CAA wins since taking over the program in 2006-07, three shy of former Drexel Coach Bruiser Flint.

WIN $2,000
One lucky Northeastern student will have a chance at winning $2,000 at the game, as part of Welcome Week presented by Coca-Cola. They will need to check into the Howlin' Huskies App, and present student ID when selected in order to compete for the prize.
