BOSTON— The No. 3 Northeastern women's hockey team will take on the Boston College Eagles in a home-and-home series beginning on Friday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at Kelley Rink. The series will close out at Matthews Arena on Sunday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- The Eagles: Boston College enters this game on a five-game winless streak, with their last win coming at Connecticut on Nov. 23, 2019. Northeastern defeated Boston College earlier this season, 3-0, in the opening game of the series. The Huskies shutout the Eagles for the first time since Nov. 26, 2003 with their fifth shutout of the season. Hannah Bilka leads all Eagles with 11 goals and leads all Hockey East freshman with 23 points. Cayla Barnes leads the defensive unit for Boston College with 54 blocks, which leads all Hockey East defenders.
- Can We Be Frank(el) With You?: Aerin Frankel posted 106 saves through three games for the Huskies and was named the Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week, as well as the NCAA Third Star for her efforts. Frankel posted a career-high 51 saves in the 4-3 overtime loss to No. 1 Wisconsin the Battle at the Burgh championship game. The Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. native was named the Tournament MVP, and to the All-Tournament Team. Frankel now ranks second in the NCAA with a .953 save percentage and 1.18 GAA.
- Let The Good Times Knoll: After tying to lead all freshman in Hockey East with three points in two games during the month of December, freshman Katy Knoll was named the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month for the second month in a row. The rookie finished up December with a +6 rating, an NCAA-best among Freshman. Knoll currently ranks fourth on the Huskies with 16 points off five goals and 11 assists.
