BOSTON - Northeastern (0-1) will host Massachusetts (1-0) on Sunday inside the Cabot Center for men's basketball non-conference action in the final game of a home-and-home series. The game will be televised on NESN and will tip-off at Noon.

OPENING TIP
The Huskies return to playing inside the Cabot Center on Solomon Court for the first time since the 2004-05 season as long as fans are not permitted at home games, which will be at least through the end of 2020. Northeastern is a perfect 4-0 in Cabot in the Bill Coen era and have won 11 of its last 12 games on Solomon Court.

HOME OPENERS
The Huskies are 12-2 under Coach Coen in home openers. This will be just the third time NU has hosted UMass in a home opener, with each team winning once (W, 62-56 on Dec. 6, 1952 / L, 70-63 on Dec. 4, 1954).

COEN CHASING HISTORY
Coach Coen enters his 15th season at Northeastern and is just nine wins shy of matching the all-time record of 250, held by Jim Calhoun from 1972-86. Coen ranks second all-time in CAA history with 163 regular season and postseason wins, trailing Miami (FL) coach Jim Larranaga, former George Mason coach.

YOUTH SERVED
Northeastern is one of the youngest teams in the country with just three upperclassmen out of 12 players. The Huskies lost nearly 70 percent of their scoring from a season ago, including CAA scoring champion Jordan Roland, and sophomore Tyson Walker is the only returner to average double figures a season ago (10.4 per game).

WALKER EARNS CAA PRESEASON RECOGNITION
A native of Westbury, N.Y., Walker was named to the preseason All-CAA second team, voted on by the league head coaches and media. He finished third in the CAA with 1.8 steals per game and finished second among all CAA freshmen in scoring. Walker scored a team-best 29 points in the opener at UMass on Friday and posted a career-best five steals and 13-for-14 performance from the free-throw line.

DOHERTY AND TELFORT SHINE IN OPENER
Making their Northeastern debuts, redshirt sophomore Chris Doherty and freshman Jahmyl Telfort had strong performances for the Huskies. Doherty, a transfer from Notre Dame and native of Marlborough, Mass., finished with eight points and five rebounds in a career-high 21 minutes. Telfort, a native of Boucherville, Ontario, posted 13 points and a perfect 2-for-2 performance from behind the arc.
