NEWARK, Del. - Jordan Roland scored 16 points and
Tyson Walker finished with 10 as Northeastern (13-14, 7-8 CAA) dropped a 70-48 decision to Delaware (20-8, 10-5 CAA) on Thursday night inside the Bob Carpenter Center. The Blue Hens jumped out to a 29-6 lead that the Huskies could not recover from.
Turnovers haunted Northeastern early in the game and Delaware capitalized on them, scoring 25 points off 14 NU turnovers. The shooting woes continued for NU behind the arc, finishing 6-for-21 (33%) and the Blue Hens made 54 percent (27-for-50) of their shots in the game.
Delaware's Nate Darling scored all 17 of his points for the Blue Hens in the first half. Justyn Mutts added 13 and eight rebounds, while Ryan Allen finished with 10.
The Huskies will play their final CAA road game of the season this Saturday at Drexel. Game time is set for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on
