PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Jordan Roland scored a game-high 25 points and
Shaquille Walters finished with 16 points to lead Northeastern (14-14, 8-8 CAA) to a big 77-68 win over Drexel (13-16, 6-10 CAA) on Saturday at the DAC Center. The Huskies led for nearly 35 minutes, including the entire second half.
Bolden Brace scored 10 points in the second half and
Maxime Boursiquot added 10 points and a team-best eight rebounds, as well as a career-high five assists.
The Huskies and Dragons went back-and-forth in the first half, with Northeastern leading 36-34 at halftime. NU used a 13-4 run to start the second half and remained in control of the game the rest of the way.
The Dragons were led by Camren Wynter and James Butler, finishing with 20 and 17 points, respectively.
Northeastern will close out the regular season with home games on Thursday and Sunday this week. The Huskies will welcome James Madison on Thursday night inside Matthews Arena at 8 p.m., before hosting Towson on Senior Day at Matthews for a 4 p.m. tip on CBS Sports Network on Sunday, March 1.
