BOCA RATON, Fla. - Scott Holzwasser went 3-for-5 with a double and RBI, and
Teddy Beaudet finished 2-for-3 with a run scored and a walk to lead Northeastern (7-5) in a 4-2 defeat to Florida Atlantic (9-4) on Friday night at the FAU Baseball Stadium. The Huskies outhit the Owls, 8-6, but allowed four unearned runs.

Kyle Murphy (2-2) threw 4.0 strong innings, allowing four hits, no earned runs and struck out five, and RHP
Brian Rodriguez tossed 4.0 innings, scattering two hits, one run, no earned runs and fanned two. FAU's RHP Jacob Josey (1-1) worked 7.0 innings in the win, striking out seven and allowed two earned runs. RHP Mitchell Hartigan threw the final 2.0 innings for the Owls, striking out three to record his second save of the season.
The Huskies jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third inning as Holzwasser doubled in a run and
Jared Dupere extended his hitting streak to 12 straight games with a RBI single up the middle. The Owls would break through with three unearned runs in the bottom of the fifth inning courtesy of a two-out double and a walk with the bases loaded after an error. FAU tacked on another unearned run in the bottom of the eighth inning after an error and wild pitch gave the Owls a 4-2 lead.
