Huskies close out competition at Army

WEST POINT, N.Y.
-- Freshman Tessa McClain championed the women's mile with a time of 4:58.69, earning the 10th-fastest indoor mile time in school history, while Dominique Biron won the women's high jump (5 feet, 6 inches) and the women's long jump with a personal-best mark of 18 feet, 5 inches, to lead the Northeastern men's and women's track and field teams against Army on Saturday at the Gillis Field House. 

Anders Narita posted a personal-best time of 1:56.98 in the men's 800 meters and Khamil Evans earned a runner-up finish in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 26.48. Dametrius O'Connor placed second in the men's 200 (22.13), Khailah Griffin ran the 60-meter dash in 7.91 seconds to finish in second place, while O'Connor followed suit in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 6.98 to cross the finish line in second place.

Mayowa Osunsami and Savion Thompson earned second and third-place  finishes in the men's 60-meter hurdles with times of 8.23 and 8.36, respectively. 

In field events, Shraeya Srinivasan placed second in the women's triple jump (37 feet, 9 inches), Thompson earned a runner-up spot in the men's long jump with a distance of 22 feet, 4 inches, and Trinity Cardillo threw the women's shot put 44 feet, 1 inch to end in second place.

The Huskies will next compete at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational hosted by Liberty University, February 12-14.
