Rafaella Lepenioti tallied a team-high 12 kills on .407 hitting, but the Huskies volleyball team (11-11, 7-5 CAA) fell to JMU (15-5, 9-3 CAA) in straight sets at Sinclair Gymnasium on Sunday.

The Dukes took the first set, and a battle of a second to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match. JMU then closed it out in the third, taking its second straight sweep over the Huskies.Â
- Along with her big day on offense, Lepenioti notched four digs.
- Junior outside hitter Erica Staunton tallied 10 kills and two blocks.
- Sophomore outside hitter Defne Arliel had five kills and 12 digs.
- Sophomore middle blocker Marika Virthe had a team-high three blocks.
- Freshman setter Jessica Frannea had 29 assists and five digs.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin notched 17 digs and five assists.
- JMU outhit Northeastern .250 to .174.
- The match had 23 tie scores, and nine lead changes.
