Harrisonburg, Va.- Freshman outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti tallied a team-high 12 kills on .407 hitting, but the Huskies volleyball team (11-11, 7-5 CAA) fell to JMU (15-5, 9-3 CAA) in straight sets at Sinclair Gymnasium on Sunday.
 
The Dukes took the first set, and a battle of a second to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match. JMU then closed it out in the third, taking its second straight sweep over the Huskies. 

• Along with her big day on offense, Lepenioti notched four digs.
• Junior outside hitter Erica Staunton tallied 10 kills and two blocks.
• Sophomore outside hitter Defne Arliel had five kills and 12 digs.
• Sophomore middle blocker Marika Virthe had a team-high three blocks.
• Freshman setter Jessica Frannea had 29 assists and five digs.
• Junior libero Kayla Martin notched 17 digs and five assists.
• JMU outhit Northeastern .250 to .174.
• The match had 23 tie scores, and nine lead changes.

The Huskies will host The College of Charleston on Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7. First serve from Solomon Court is at 2 pm for both matches, and can also be watched on FloVolleyball.
