BOSTON – Sophomore outside hitter
Defne Arliel tallied 11 kills and 18 digs, but it was not enough as the Huskies volleyball team (11-12, 7-6 CAA) fell to the College of Charleston (14-10, 7-6 CAA) in four sets at the Cabot Center on Saturday.

The College of Charleston and Northeastern each took a set to tie the match up at one. The Cougars then took the next two sets, and ultimately the match in four.Â
- Arliel also had three blocks.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin tallied three assists and 12 digs.
- Junior middle blocker Anya Korbut notched five kills and four blocks.
- Junior outside hitter Erica Staunton had six kills and two blocks.
- Freshman outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti recorded five kills and nine digs.
- Sophomore middle blocker Marika Virthe tallied a team-high five blocks and two service aces.
- Freshman setter Jessica Frannea dished out 24 assists.
