BOSTON - Tickets are on sale now to the Northeastern Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony to celebrate Laura Chmielewski, Jenifer Forbes, Donald Heyburn, Fiona Rice, Mike Tamsin, Brad Thiessen and the 1988 Field Hockey team as the newest members of the Northeastern Hall of Fame, plus we will celebrate the
2020 hall of fame class as well. The ceremony will be held at 7:30 p.m. on November 11, 2021 in Blackman Auditorium on the campus of Northeastern University and you can purchase tickets

Laura Chmielewski, Women's Track & Field, Class of 2006
- Holds the women's pole vault program record with a jump of 13-9.25
- 2004 and 2005 America East Women's Pole Vault Champion
- New England Indoor Women's Pole Vault Champion in 2004 and 2006
- New England Outdoor Women's Pole Vault Champion in 2004
Jenifer Forbes, Women's Rowing, Class of 2011
- Took third in the varsity eight at the 2011 World Rowing Under 23 Championships
- 2010 All-American rower
- 2011 Varsity Outstanding Competitor
Donald Heyburn, Men's Track & Field, Class of 1985
- Holds the Northeastern Men's Track and Field pole vault record with a jump of 17-0
- New England Indoor Pole Vault Champion in 1982, 1983, 1984
- New England Outdoor Pole Vault Champion in 1983, 1984
Fiona Rice, Women's Hockey, Class of 1990
- Holds the most assists in program history with 118
- Number three in career points scored with 181
- Played in 103 games for the Huskies
Mike Tamsin, Baseball, Class of 2010
- Played in 197 games for the Huskies
- All-time program leader in hits with 271, and total bases with 382
- Hit .361 with 18 home runs and 145 RBIs
- Second highest career batting average in program history
- Number four in on-base percentage (.444), number three in RBIs (145), and number five in runs (140)
Brad Thiessen, Men's Hockey, Class of 2011
- Played in 111 games for the Huskies
- Posted nine shutouts and a 2.41 GAA in his career with the Huskies
- Spent time in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Calgary Flames
- Played 290 games in the AHL for Wilkes-Barre, Norfolk, Adirondack, Lake Erie, and Cleveland
- Currently the Goaltending Development Coach for the Columbus Blue Jackets
1988 Northeastern Field Hockey Team
- Finished Third in the NCAA Tournament, after making an appearance in the Final Four
- Was the first of five straight NCAA Tournament appearances
- The first season under the command of legendary NU Field Hockey coach Cheryl Murtagh
