TOWSON, MD. - Erica Staunton dominated offensively, earning 20 kills, but Northeastern volleyball (12-13, 8-7 CAA) came up short against the Towson Tigers (22-4, 11-4 CAA) by a score of 3-1 in Maryland.
- Staunton's 20 kills came on top of a .333 hitting percentage, also a team high.
- Rafaella Lepenioti also had a fantastic day on the court, earning a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs.
- Jessica Frannea was dishing the ball out well, earning 40 kills, matching the second-highest game total of her career.
- Kayla Martin lead the Huskies defensively, despite starting as a defensive specialst. Martin came out for the third set as the libero, and quickly totalled 17 digs, a team-high.
- Marika Virthe was dominant at the net, making 8 blocks, a game-high.
The Huskies are back in action this Sunday, as they once again take on the Towson Tigers in the last game of the regular season. First serve is at noon, and the game can be watched on FloVolleyball.
