Erica Staunton tallied a team-high 12 kills, but the Huskies volleyball team (12-14, 8-8 CAA) fell to Towson (24-4, 12-4 CAA) in straight sets to close the regular season.
- Along with her 12 kills, Staunton notched two blocks and three digs.
- Staunton ended the regular season tallying double-digit kills in 11 matches.Â
- Freshman outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti had six kills and four digs.
- Junior middle blocker Anya Korbut, sophomore outside hitter Defne Arliel and freshman setter Jessica Frannea each tallied four kills apiece.
- Graduate student outside hitter Amanda Guasti-Nugent had 11 digs.
- Frannea dished out a team-high 25 assists.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin notched 15 digs.
- Towson outhit the Huskies, .290 to .089.
- The match had 11 tie scores, and seven lead changes.
The Huskies will head back to Towson for the CAA Tournament on Thursday, November 18 through Saturday, November 20. Seeding is to be determined.Â
