The Huskies led by as many as 30 points with 4:55 to go in the fourth quarter. UNH lost a one-point lead with 7:22 to go in the second and Northeastern never looked back, holding the lead to the very end. • At the half, Northeastern led by 13 but used a 15-1 run spanning just over six minutes between the third and fourth quarters to extend the lead to 27 before coasting home to the win.
  • Soriano and Currence were the only Huskies in double figures, but they spread the ball out as freshman guard Gemima Motema had eight points and senior guard Katie May finished with seven. Overall, NU shot 64.4% from the field (29-for-45) and 38.1% (8-for-21) from three while the Wildcats finished 28.1% from the field (16-57) and 18.2% from long-range (4-22).
  • The last time the Huskies held an opponent to less than 30% from the floor was on February 21, 2021, when the Huskies beat Hofstra 68-39 and held the Pride to just 26.8% shooting.
  • Soriano was lights-out, shooting 7-10 from the field and knocking down four treys.
  • May and Soriano led the Huskies with seven and six assists, respectively. As a team, the Red and Black moved the ball well, generating 20 team assists compared to UNH's nine.
  • Leading the team in rebounds this evening was Currence and sophomore guard Donna Ntambue, who had six and five, respectively. The Huskies outrebounded UNH 41-27.
  • Freshman guard Camille Clement earned her first collegiate points, a three-pointer with 9:08 remaining in the fourth quarter.
