RICHMOND, Va.- For the second straight week, freshman guard
Claudia Soriano of Northeastern women's basketball was tabbed the CAA Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
- Soriano tallied 22 points, six steals, five assists and 10 rebounds in a 2-0 week for Northeastern to earn the award.
- The freshman ranks first in the CAA with 4.29 steals per game this season, and third in the nation.
- Soriano has recorded at least two steals in every game this season.
- She tallied a career-high seven rebounds in the victory over Hartford on Sunday.
- The Barcelona, Spain native is averaging 11.9 points per game, which is good for second on the team.
Soriano and the Huskies will be back in action this week on the road, as they take face Quinnipiac on Tuesday, December 7. Tip-off is slated for 6 pm, and can be watched on
