  • Tonight was the first non-conference game for Northeastern in February since hosting Stony Brook for the Sears Bracketbusters game on Feb. 18, 2012 in Matthews Arena
  • The Huskies are 1-6 in non-conference play this season and 0-6 on the road
    • Four of the six road games are against Power 5 opponents
  • Northeastern is 1-7 this season when trailing at the half, 41-30 tonight
    • The Tar Heels outscored the Huskies 13-2 over the final 5:04 of the opening 20 minutes

Sophomore Tyson Walker
  • Scored the first 11 points of the game for the Huskies
  • Finished the first half with 21 points
    • He is the first player to reach 20 or more points vs. UNC since BC's Ky Bowman posted 21 on Jan. 21, 2017
  • Tallied a game-high 27 points
  • Went 8-for-15 from the floor and 4-for-7 form behind the arc
  • Reached double figures for the 14th straight game and 34th time in his career
