ORLANDO, Fla. -- Dametrius O'Connor finished first in the men's 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 10.50, while
David Adams finished first in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 14.27 to lead the Northeastern men and women's track and field teams at the Black and Gold Invitational at the University of Central Florida.
Northeastern took first place in the men's 400-meter relay with O'Connor,
Naukym Morton,
David Adams, and
Donatien Djero, clocking a time of 41.26. The Huskies also earned the top four positions in the men's 100-meter dash with Djero finishing second with a time of 10.50 as Adams followed in third place at 10.60.
Mayowa Osunsami ran a personal-best time of 10.67 to finish in fourth place.

Dominque Biron earned a personal-best mark in the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.75, while
Phillips Magre finished second in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 49.06.Â
Max Spencer placed first in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 1:54:01 with
Nicholas Young (1:55.49) and
Pierre Sylvain (1:56.63) following shortly after in second and third place, respectively.
Leeyan Redwood finished fourth in the women's shot-put event with a distance of 45 feet, 4.5 inches as well as placed sixth in the women's discus throw with a mark of 129 feet, 9.5 inches.Â

The Huskies will compete at the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State and at the UConn Invitational Meet beginning on Friday, March 26.
