Huskies Close Out Competition at Seahawk Invitational

WILMINGTON, N.C. –
 Brandon Moorer ran a time of 49.01 to place first in the men's 400-meter, while Erica Belvit won the women's hammer throw with a mark of 194 feet, 10 inches to lead the Northeastern men's and women's track and field teams at the Seahawk Invitational Meet on Saturday in Wilmington, N.C.
 
David Adams placed first in the men's 110-meter hurdles (14.64) and second in the men's 400-meter hurdles (54.49). Naukym Morton came out on top in the men's 100-meter dash with a first-place time of 11.13.
 
In the field events, Leeyan Redwood took home second in the women's shot put with a mark of 43 feet, 5.25 inches. 
 
The Huskies will be back in action on Thursday, March 18 at the University of Central Florida Invitational.
