BROOKLINE, Mass. - Danny Crossen led the Huskies' offense going 4-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI in Northeastern's (4-4) 10-1 win over UAlbany (1-3) on Tuesday afternoon at Friedman Diamond. The Huskies out-hit the Great Danes 12-5 and the seven-run fourth inning marked the most runs Northeastern has scored in an inning since 2019 against Houston Baptist.
Jared Dupere stayed hot for the Huskies notching two extra-base hits including his third career triple in three at bats today while scoring two runs.
Scott Holzwasser's run today puts him eighth all-time for runs scored at Northeastern with 129 and has reached base in 26 straight games.
Wyatt Scotti had a career-high seven strikeouts in his second career start with no walks and only allowing four hits through 4.0 innings pitched. After allowing a run in the first inning, Northeastern pitchers tossed eight scoreless innings and struck out 13.
Northeastern will host a three-game series against UMass Lowell starting Friday at 2 p.m. and a doubleheader on Saturday with first pitch slated for 11 a.m.
