BOSTON - Northeastern's men's rowing head coach
Justin Jones named
Trevor Appier as the Assistant Coach after returning to Northeastern as a Volunteer Assistant in March of 2020 and moved into the Assistant Coach role in 2021 to help lead the Huskies to a fourth place team finish at IRAs, placing all three varsity crews into the Grand Final with 14-2 regular season record across all crews.
"I am thrilled to be able to bring on
Trevor Appier as the Assistant Coach for Men's Rowing.," said Jones. "Trevor is a passionate alumnus and one of the most successful oarsmen and captains Northeastern has had in the past decade, winning the Eastern Sprints in the JV and producing a silver medal in the Varsity 8+ during his time as a Husky. He was integral to our efforts as an Assistant Coach through the historic 2021 season, culminating in a fourth-place team finish at the IRA National Championships, and I am thrilled to be able to retain him on staff full-time as an essential member of our team."
