Erin Savage recorded two saves on three shots faced to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (1-6, 0-0 CAA) as they fell to Maine (3-5, 0-0 AE) 2-0 on Sunday at the University of Maine Field Hockey Complex.
- Savage made two big saves for the Huskies on back-to-back penalty corners from the Black Bears.
- Senior Julia Gluyas contributed three saves through 42 minutes of play.
- Graduate student Cadera Smith and sophomore Sarah Coyle each recorded one shot and one shot on goal for the Huskies.
- The score sat at 0-0 during the first half of the game until Maine put up two goals halfway through the third quarter.
Northeastern will be back in action at Dedham Field on Friday, Sept. 24 as they take on Dartmouth at 6 p.m. on
