Liz Carroll notched 37 assists to lead the Huskies volleyball team (7-6, 3-0 CAA) to its third straight conference win of the season, taking down the Hofstra Pride (7-7, 1-2 CAA) on Saturday.
The Huskies came back multiple times in the match, taking the second and the fourth set to force it to go five.
- The 3-0 start to CAA play is the first time since 2017 for the Huskies.
- Freshman outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti and junior outside hitter Evelyn Gonzalez each notched eight kills.
- Carroll also tallied four kills and 10 digs.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin recorded 23 digs.
- Freshman defensive specialist Sara Kent had a season-high 11 digs.
The Huskies will host Hofstra again on Sunday, September 26 on Solomon Court. First serve is set for 2 pm, and can be watched on
