Nailah Jenkins led the way with 11 kills, respectively, but the Huskies volleyball team (7-7, 3-1 CAA) fell to Hofstra (8-7, 2-2 CAA) in a five-set battle at the Cabot Center on Sunday.
For the second straight match, the Huskies came back multiple times, taking the second and fourth sets to force it to go five.
- The loss snapped Northeastern's five game winning streak.
- Gonzalez has tallied double-digit kills in seven matches so far this season, and the junior's three aces ties a career-high.
- Along with her 11 kills, Jenkins notched three blocks and four digs.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin notched 18 digs.
- Junior setter Liz Carroll had 35 assists and nine digs.
- Junior outside hitter Erica Staunton tallied nine kills.
The Huskies will hit the road next weekend for a pair of conference matches with UNCW. First serve on Saturday, October 2
