DENVER — Freshman outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti had 11 kills and junior setter Samantha Shupe contributed 13 digs on the defensive end, but Northeastern women's volleyball (2-3, 0-0 CAA) couldn't overcome the University of Denver (4-1, 0-0 Summit) in the 3-0 (22-25, 16-25, 20-25) loss on Friday night in the Denver Tournament.
- Sophomore outside hitter Defne Arliel had eight kills and junior outside hitter Nailah Jenkins had six.
- Junior libero Kayla Martin contributed 12 digs.
- Shupe gave her teammates 31 assists.
- Jenkins also had three total blocks on the defensive end.
- Overall, the Huskies had more digs than Denver, beating them 48-46 in that category.
