ATHENS, Ohio – Junior
Lauren Rowe had one goal, three shots and two shots on goal to lead the Northeastern field hockey team (0-4, 0-0 CAA) as they fell to Ohio University (1-2, 0-0 MAC) 3-2 on Saturday at Pruitt Field.
- Rowe gave the Huskies a 1-0 lead off a penalty stroke in the first quarter. She has two goals on the season and both off of penalty strokes.
- Sophomore Mak Graves had her team leading third goal of the season to tie the game at 2-2 with five minutes left in the third quarter.
- Northeastern dominated the Bobcats in corners, 6-1.
- Ohio tied the game in the second quarter and then took a 2-1 lead during the third quarter. The Bobcats scored the winning goal with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
The Huskies return to Dedham Field on Friday, Sept. 10 as they take on Holy Cross in their home opener at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed on
