FULL RESULTS
BOSTON – Hosting Vermont on senior day, the Northeastern women's swimming and diving team celebrated in style with a 175-125 win at Barletta Natatorium on Saturday.
Northeastern came away with nine victories on the day, which included
Erin Murphy in the 3M Dive (263.40),
Lauren O'Sullivan in the 1M Dive (245.70), the 200 Medley Relay B quartet of
Kate Cosgrove,
Lena Wang,
Hannah Seward, and
Stella Urness (1:48.19), and Cosgrove in the 100 Backstroke (57.72).
- Wang picked up a victory in the 100 Breaststroke (1:08.05), and the 200 Breaststroke (2:26.72).
- Bailey Smith won the 200 Fly with a time of 2:08.28 and the 200 Backstroke (2:05.99).
- O'Sullivan (259.73), and Lizzie Meschisen (243.98) finished second and third in the 3M Dive, respectively.
- Meschisen (245.63) and Erin Murphy (232.95) finished second and third in the 1M Dive.
- Northeastern's 200 Medley Relay C quartet of Devon Muldoon, Nicole Linell, Jamie Koo and Angela Woronko finished second with a time of 1:49.08.
- Grace Miller touched the wall second in the 1000 Freestyle with a time of 10:49.62.
- Seward finished second in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:55.65.
- Muldoon finished right behind Cosgrove in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 58.75.
- Urness (1:08.20) and Tori Austin (1:09.29) finished second and third, respectively, right behind Wang in the 100 Breaststroke.
- Koo won the 100 Fly with a time of 55.74, her fourth win in the event this season.
- The quartet of Koo, Woronko, Muldoon and Miller closed out the meet with a victory in the 200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:38.50.
The Huskies will return to the pool at the Tate Ramsden Invitational on Friday, January 21 and Saturday, January 22.
