BOSTON – Paced by another double-digit performance by senior outside hitter
Erica Staunton, the Northeastern volleyball team (4-8, 1-2 CAA) picked up its first CAA win of the season with a four-set victory over Elon (5-9, 3-2 CAA), on Saturday afternoon.

Staunton, once again had a stellar match for the Huskies with 25 kills, while hitting at a blistering .413 clip. The senior also picked up another double-double with 11 digs. Graduate student outside hitter
Laura Seeger also had double-digits with 14 kills on .276 hitting.

Jessica Frannea also had a big day with 52 assists, one shy of a career high. On 108 total attempts, the Huskies hit at a .481 clip on her sets. Â

- Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins chipped in with nine kills and four blocks.
- Senior libero Kayla Martin tied a career-high with five aces, and also had nine digs.
- Graduate student middle blocker Nikiya Mitchell notched seven kills on .294 hitting.
- Sophomore outside hitter Sahitya Krishnamurthy had nine digs.
- The Huskies outhit the Phoenix .299 to .221 in the match.
- Northeastern was strong at the service line, recording 12 total aces.
- Staunton's 25 kills are one shy of a career-high.
- Martin is six digs from hitting 1,000 for her career.
- The match had 30 ties, and 12 lead changes.
