CONCORD, N.H.— Head Northeastern women's ice hockey coach
Dave Flint was formally inducted into the New Hampshire Legends of Hockey Hall of Fame on Sunday. Flint is a member of the 20
th Hall of Fame class and joins Chris Brown, David Lassonde, Tom Moulton and Ryan Frew as the inductees.
A Merrimack, New Hampshire native, Flint is in his 14
th season behind the Northeastern bench. Flint has led the Huskies to five-straight Hockey East Championships and back-to-back Frozen Four appearances. Additionally, the first six NCAA appearances in program history came under his watch.
The 2021 AHCA Coach of the Year, Flint was instrumental in the development of Kendall Coyne Schofield and
Aerin Frankel who both won the prestigious Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award while at Northeastern. In addition to developing four Patty Kazmaier top-3 finalists in Florence Schelling, Coyne Schofield, Frankel and
Alina Mueller, Flint has also produced seven CCM/AHCA All-Americans (Coyne Schofield, Schelling, Mueller, Frankel,
Skylar Fontaine,
Chloé Aurard and
Maureen Murphy), seven Olympians (Coyne Schofield, Hayley Scamurra, Mueller, Denisa Krizova, Rachel Llanes, Schelling and Julia Marty), 37 Hockey East All-Star selections (including 14 First Team honorees) and 16 Hockey East All-Rookie honorees.
A four-time Hockey East Coach of the Year, Flint owns a career record of 382-153-43 and 294-138-41 while at Northeastern.
