BOSTON – Paced by a team-high 23 kills from senior outside hitter
Erica Staunton, the Northeastern volleyball team (9-10, 6-4 CAA) took down Stony Brook (9-12, 4-8 CAA) in four sets on Sunday afternoon at the Cabot Center. With the win, the Huskies completed the weekend sweep over the Seawolves.

Laura Seeger also had double-digits in the match. Jenkins had 13 kills on .500 hitting, and Seeger had 10 kills while hitting at a .333 clip.

- Staunton also had 13 digs and three blocks, picking up her fifth double-double of the season.
- Senior libero Kayla Martin notched 13 digs and five assists.
- Senior middle blocker Anya Korbut tallied six kills, three digs and two blocks.
- Junior middle blocker Marika Virthe tallied a team-high seven blocks.
- Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea had another stellar match, dishing out a team-high 44 assists and nine digs.
- The match had 21 ties, and nine lead changes.
 The Huskies will face North Carolina A&T on the road on Sunday, October 30 and Monday, October 31. First serve is slated for 12 pm in both matches, and can be watched on FloVolleyball.
