BOSTON – Paced by a team-high 23 kills from senior outside hitter Erica Staunton, the Northeastern volleyball team (9-10, 6-4 CAA) took down Stony Brook (9-12, 4-8 CAA) in four sets on Sunday afternoon at the Cabot Center. With the win, the Huskies completed the weekend sweep over the Seawolves.
 
Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins and graduate student outside hitter Laura Seeger also had double-digits in the match. Jenkins had 13 kills on .500 hitting, and Seeger had 10 kills while hitting at a .333 clip.

• Staunton also had 13 digs and three blocks, picking up her fifth double-double of the season.
• Senior libero Kayla Martin notched 13 digs and five assists.
• Senior middle blocker Anya Korbut tallied six kills, three digs and two blocks.
• Junior middle blocker Marika Virthe tallied a team-high seven blocks.
• Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea had another stellar match, dishing out a team-high 44 assists and nine digs.
• The match had 21 ties, and nine lead changes.

 The Huskies will face North Carolina A&T on the road on Sunday, October 30 and Monday, October 31. First serve is slated for 12 pm in both matches, and can be watched on FloVolleyball.
