Laura Seeger each notched double-digits to lead the Northeastern volleyball team (10-10, 7-4 CAA) to a five-set victory over North Carolina A&T (9-14, 5-8 CAA), on Sunday afternoon at Moore Gymnasium.

Jenkins had a strong match with 13 kills on .300 hitting, and Seeger tallied 11 kills on .400 hitting.

Jessica Frannea also continued her stellar play with a team-high 53 assists and seven digs. Frannea now has 40+ assists in nine matches this season.

Northeastern def. North Carolina A&T (23-25, 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 15-7)
- Senior libero Kayla Martin had a team-high 24 digs.
- Junior outside hitter Defne Arliel chipped in with seven kills and nine digs.
- Senior outside hitter Evelyn Gonzalez had four kills and four digs.
- Junior middle blocker Marika Virthe tallied seven kills on .462 hitting. Three of her kills were notched in the decisive fifth set.
- Frannea also was strong from the service line with a team-high four aces.
- The Huskies hit .714 in the fifth set (10 kills, no errors).
- The victory is Northeastern's first road win of the season, and also secured a spot in the CAA Tournament.
The Huskies will face North Carolina A&T again on Monday, October 31. First serve is slated for noon, and can be watched on
