BOSTON – Paced by a career-high 17 kills from junior outside hitter
Defne Arliel, the Northeastern volleyball team (7-8, 4-2 CAA) took down UNCW (3-12, 1-5 CAA) in five sets on Sunday afternoon at the Cabot Center. With the win, the Huskies completed the weekend sweep over the Seahawks.

Laura Seeger also had double-digits in the match. Jenkins and Seeger both had 14 kills, respectively.

- Senior libero Kayla Martin had a team-high 19 digs, and also notched two service aces and four assists.
- Junior defensive specialist Maddie Donaphon tallied 12 digs.
- Jenkins also had three blocks and two service aces.
- Sophomore outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti had a career-high six service aces.
- Junior middle blocker Marika Virthe chipped in with nine kills.
- Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea notched a double-double with a team-high 49 assists and 12 digs.
- The Huskies were stellar from the service line with 14 service aces.
The Huskies will hit the road and take on the College of Charleston on Saturday, October 15, and Sunday, October 16. First serve is slated for 1 pm on both days, and can be watched on
