No. 8/7 Huskies Prepped for Eagles

BOSTON— The No. 8/7 Northeastern women's hockey team is set to face the Boston College Eagles in a home-and-home series beginning on Friday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m. in Matthews Arena. The series will then head to Conte Forum on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2 p.m.
 
Friday's game is set to be nationally televised on ESPNU, while Saturday's tilt will be featured on ESPN+. Both games will be available in Canada on TSN.CA and on the TSN app. 
 
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. HUSKY MAUDE ACTIVATED: Graduate student Maude Poulin-Labelle, was named the Hockey East Defender of the Week after a four-point weekend in the sweep over UNH. She posted three assists in Saturday's 8-2 victory and helped the Huskies to their third shutout of the season in Friday's 5-0 win. Poulin-Labelle now leads all Hockey East defenders with 11 points off two goals and nine assists.
  2. PHILIPS WITH ONE 'L': Senior Gwyneth Philips, was named the Hockey Commissioners Association Co-Goaltender of the Month and Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for her play during September and October. Philips owns a 10-1-1 record this season and has posted three shutouts. The Athens, Ohio native has a .84 goals against average and .959 save percentage this season, both tops among Hockey East goaltenders. Her 10 wins this season lead all goaltenders nationally.
  3. THE EAGLES (NOT THE BAND): Boston College enters this series on a two-game losing streak after being swept by UConn. The Eagles own a 6-5-1 record overall and 5-3-0 record in conference. Abigail Levy and Grace Campbell have split time in net so far this season for the Eagles. Levy owns a 4-3-1 record with a 1.86 GAA and .946 save percentage, while Campbell has a 2-2-0 record with a 2.79 GAA and .899 save percentage. Hannah Bilka leads BC with 18 points off eight goals and 10 assists. Her 18 points rank second in the conference behind Maureen Murphy's 19 points. The last meeting between these two teams was in the Beanpot, where BC defeated the Huskies 3-1 in Matthews Arena.
 
Up next, Northeastern will take on No. 10 Providence on Tuesday, Nov. 15 in Rhode Island.
