THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. WELCOME TO SMASHVILLE: The Huskies are competing in the Smashville Showcase hosted at the Nashville Predators' practice facility, the Ford Ice Center. Northeastern, Princeton and Cornell are the three teams competing in the showcase. This marks the first time since the 2018-19 season the Huskies have taken on two separate ranked opponents in back-to-back games in the regular season.
  2. TIGERS ARE STILL CATS: Princeton enters this game with Northeastern after most recently falling to No. 10 Clarkson, 2-1. Canadian Olympian Sarah Fillier leads the tigers with six points, while Emerson O'Leary has a team-high four goals. The Huskies swept the Tigers in 2021-22, with Alina Mueller recording four points over two games.
  3. WE LIKE OUR RED MORE: Cornell enters Nashville after most recently falling to Harvard, 2-0, which snapped a four-game winning streak for the Big Red. Gillis Frechette leads Cornell with 16 points off six goals and 10 assists, while Izzy Daniels is second on the team with 14 points. Northeastern swept the Big Red during the 2021-22 season, with Gwyneth Philips picking up one win in goal.
After Nashville, the Huskies will return to Matthews Arena to play their final games of 2022 with a series against No. 12/13 Vermont beginning on Friday, Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
