HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – Junior outside hitter Defne Arliel tallied a team-high seven kills, but it was not enough as the Northeastern volleyball team (11-11, 8-5 CAA) fell to Hofstra (16-9, 13-0 CAA) on Saturday afternoon.

• Senior libero Kayla Martin had eight digs and three service aces.
• Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins tallied five kills and five blocks.
• Senior outside hitter Erica Staunton notched five kills, two service aces and 10 digs.
• Arliel also had a team-high 12 digs.
• Graduate student middle blocker Nikiya Mitchell notched four kills.
• Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea tallied 26 assists and six digs.
• Hofstra outhit Northeastern .204 to .054.

The Huskies will face Hofstra again on Sunday, November 6. First serve is slated for 1 pm, and can be watched on FloVolleyball.
