ATLANTA – Georgia Tech (5-3) shot 44% from the floor and put four players in double-figures en route to a 81-63 victory over the Northeastern men's basketball team (1-6) on Friday night at McCamish Pavilion.

Jahmyl Telfort led the Huskies with 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting for a Northeastern team that was 22-of-62 overall and 5-of-25 from deep on the night.
Jared Turner and
Masai Troutman both added 10 points off the bench, while
Alexander Nwagha had a team-high seven boards to go along with eight points.

Jalon Moore led GT with 16 points highlighted by a perfect 10-of-10 from the line and nine rebounds as the Yellow Jackets shot 28-of-63 overall and outrebounded Northeastern 47-36. He was joined in double figures by Miles Kelly (16), Rodney Howard (12) and Lance Terry (11).

• Georgia Tech used runs of 9-0, 11-2 and 8-2 to take control of the game early and hold a 42-26 lead at the break. The Yellow Jackets shot 47% overall, with Kelly leading the way with 11 points (4-of-7) in 13 minutes.

• Telfort tried to keep the Huskies in it with 10 points in the opening half on 5-of-9 shooting along with three assists for a Northeastern team that was held to an 11-of-37 showing from the floor. Turner came off the bench and contributed seven points in eight minutes, including a four-point play that was preceded by an alley-oop from
Joe Pridgen (nine points).

• Georgia Tech would use a 9-0 run early on in the second half to maintain its double-digit advantage through the remainder of the contest.

The Huskies will return home on Sunday when Northeastern hosts Georgia State for a 2 p.m. tip from Matthews Arena on NESN and FloHoops.
