RICHMOND, Va.- Senior
Bailey Smith from the Northeastern women's swimming and diving team and senior
Benjamin Klingen from the men's soccer team earned CAA Institutional Scholar-Athlete accolades, announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

Smith and Klingen were both nominated for Scholar-Athletes of the year, and will be recognized with a crystal award.

Bailey Smith: Back/Fly, Women's Swimming & Diving
- Â Smith, a Cell and Molecular Biology major with a minor in Women and Gender Studies, has a 4.0 GPA.
- A captain for the Huskies, capped of her Northeastern career in style, earning silver in the 200 Back with a time of 1:58.08 (season-best) at the CAA Swimming and Diving Championships.
- Three-time All-CAA performer in the 200 Back.
- Led the Huskies this season in the 500 Free, touching the wall with a time of 4:59.39 at the Terrier Swimming and Diving Invitational.
- Finished third on the team in the 50 Back with a time of 27.07.
Benjamin Klingen: Forward, Men's Soccer
- Klingen, a Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Strategy and Business Analytics, has a 4.0 GPA.
- Â A captain this season for the Huskies, finished the season with six goals, which tied for first on the team.
- Named to the All-CAA Second Team, CoSIDA Academic All-New England Team, CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Third Team.
- Two of Klingen's goals this season were game winners.
- Had a two-goal effort which tied and clinched a 3-2 win at Quinnipiac (9/25).
- Finished third on the team with seven assists.
