Pisciotta, Hassman Record Top 10 Marks to Lead Huskies at UConn

STORRS, Conn. –
 Nicholas Pisciotta championed the men's hammer throw with the 10th best mark in school history (61.35m/201-3) and Abigail Hassman finished seventh in the women's 1,500 meters with the third-best time in program history (4:30.44, PB) to lead the Northeastern track and field teams on their final day of competition at the UConn Northeast Challenge.
  • Mayowa Osunsami placed second in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.18.
  • In the women's 800 meters, Nicole Dunbury (2:14.10) and Tessa McClain (2:14.38) led the Huskies with a second and third-place finish. Sarah Petersen placed sixth (2:14.87), Lucinda Shotts placed seventh (2:15.56) and Lauren Trejo finished ninth (2:16.53).
  • Anna Schaller came in third place in the women's 5,000 meters, finishing with a time of 17:43.09.
  • Kennedee Cox concluded the second day of the heptathlon with a fifth-place finish overall. Cox finished fourth in the long jump (5.37m/17-7.5) and fifth in the 800 meters.
  • Nii Yarboi Yartley matched his personal-best time of 10.77 in the men's 100-meter dash and finished eighth in the event.
  • Madeleine DuChaussee earned a sixth-place finish in the women's shot put (12.88m/42-3.25).
  • Khamil Evans ran a seventh-place time of 56.98 in the women's 400-meter dash and finished in 11th place in the women's 200-meter dash (25.11).
  • In the men's 1,500 meters, Matthew Schaefer finished 21st (3:55.88) and Anders Narita finished 24th with a personal-best time of 3:57.75
