Alexander Korczynski qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 3000-meter steeplechase for the second straight season with the second-best time in school history (8:39.16, PB) to spotlight the Northeastern men's track and field team on Friday at the NCAA East Preliminaries.
Korczynski earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships by placing third in his heat. The senior's time ranked sixth overall at the NCAA East Preliminaries.
- Donatien Djero concluded his career as a Husky by placing 16th overall in the men's 100-meter dash quarterfinals (10.29). While competing at the NCAA East Preliminaries, Djero broke his own school record in the 100-meter dash and recorded a new personal-best time in the event.
