Korczynski Concludes Impressive Outdoor Season at NCAA Championships

RESULTS

EUGENE, Ore. –
 Alexander Korczynski concluded a successful outdoor season by placing 15th overall in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:43.00 on Wednesday at the 2022 NCAA Track & Field Championships.
 
In his second appearance at the NCAA Championships, Korczynski recorded his second-fastest time of the season and finished ninth in his respective heat.
 
The senior achieved several impressive performances this season. He championed two events – the 3000m steeplechase and 5,000 meters – at the CAA Championships. At the NCAA East Preliminaries, Korczynski ran a career-best time of 8:39.16 in the steeplechase and earned an automatic qualification for the NCAA Championships by placing third in his heat.
