CALGARY, Alberta— Three members of the Northeastern women's hockey have been invited to Hockey Canada's National Women's Program selection camp, which will take place from Aug. 3-14 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park. The 11-day camp will bring together athletes vying for spots on Canada's National Women's Team, Canada's National Women's Development Team and Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team.

Both blue-liners, rising senior and assistant captain
Megan Carter and graduate transfer Maude Poulin-Labelle will represent the Huskies in Calgary.
Brooke Hobson '21 was invited but is unable to participate. Â

The Canadian National Team will compete at the IIHF Women's World Championship in Herning and Frederikshavn, Denmark from Aug. 25 – Sept. 5, while the National Women's Development Team will play a three-game series against the United States on Aug. 17, 18 and 20.
