CALGARY, Alberta— Three members of the Northeastern women's hockey have been invited to Hockey Canada's National Women's Program selection camp, which will take place from Aug. 3-14 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport's Canada Olympic Park. The 11-day camp will bring together athletes vying for spots on Canada's National Women's Team, Canada's National Women's Development Team and Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team.
 
Both blue-liners, rising senior and assistant captain Megan Carter and graduate transfer Maude Poulin-Labelle will represent the Huskies in Calgary. Brooke Hobson '21 was invited but is unable to participate.  
 
The Canadian National Team will compete at the IIHF Women's World Championship in Herning and Frederikshavn, Denmark from Aug. 25 – Sept. 5, while the National Women's Development Team will play a three-game series against the United States on Aug. 17, 18 and 20.
