RICHMOND, Va. - Northeastern University men's soccer was picked to finish fourth place in the 2022 CAA Preseason Poll, with two returning players being named honored with Preseason All-Conference nods.

Timothy Ennin and midfielder
Federico Tellez were recognized by the conference on Tuesday, both making the CAA Preseason All-Conference roster. Both players had strong seasons in 2021, en route to Northeastern's best regular season finish since 2012.
Timothy Ennin - Redshirt Senior - Forward - Hartford, Conn.
- One of four players on the squad in 2021 with six goals on the year, adding in four assists for 16 points, which was third-best on the team.
- Tallied the game-winner against Merrimack (09/03/21) in a 2-1 non-conference matchup with the Warriors.
- Made the 2021 All-CAA Third Team.
Federico Tellez - Junior - Midfield - Miami, Florida
- Team leader in points with 25 last season (6 goals, 13 assists).
- Had the game-winner against Hofstra (09/11/21) as the Huskies opened the season with a CAA win with a 2-1 scoreline.
- Tallied a goal and four assists (career high six points) against College of Charleston (10/30/21).
- Named to the 2021 All-CAA First Team.
The Huskies begin their 2022 campaign at Parsons Field in Brookline next Thursday, August 25th as they host the UMass Minutemen at 1 P.M. Northeastern opens up CAA play on September third at Elon.
