BOSTON – Paced by back-to-back double-digit kill performances from senior outside hitter
Erica Staunton, the Northeastern volleyball team (3-6, 0-0 CAA), split a pair of matches on the final day of the Northeastern Tournament.
The Huskies swept Iona in the morning, picking up their first home victory of the season, and then fell to Utah Valley in four sets in the evening.

- Staunton notched a team-high 16 kills while hitting .286, and also had three digs.
- Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea had a double-double with a team-high 29 assists to go with 11 digs.
- Senior libero Kayla Martin tallied 21 digs and four assists.
- Junior outside hitter Defne Arliel chipped in with six kills and two blocks.
- Sophomore outside hitter Rafaella Lepenioti had a strong defensive match, notching 10 digs and three assists.
- Northeastern outhit Iona, .261 to .163
- The Huskies outblocked the Gaels seven to two.
- The win marked Northeastern's first straight set victory of the season.

- Staunton led the Huskies with 18 kills while hitting .306.
- Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins had nine kills on .333 hitting, and three blocks.
- Junior middle blocker Marika Virthe notched seven kills and three blocks.
- Frannea dished out a team-high 38 assists.
- Frannea and Martin had eight digs apiece.
- Utah Valley outhit Northeastern .339 to .252.
