Erica Staunton and graduate student outside hitter
Laura Seeger notched double-digit kills, but the Northeastern volleyball team (3-7, 0-1 CAA) fell to Delaware (5-4, 1-0 CAA) in three sets in its CAA opener on Saturday afternoon.

Staunton tallied a team-high 13 kills, and Seeger had a strong performance with 12 kills while hitting at a .312 clip.

- Staunton also had five digs and a block.
- Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins notched five kills and four blocks.
- Senior libero Kayla Martin tallied a team-high 14 digs.
- Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea dished out a team-high 30 assists to go with seven digs.
- Delaware outhit Northeastern .280 to .202.
- Delaware's Lani Mason had a match high 19 kills while hitting a blistering .433.
- The match had 12 tie scores and four lead changes.
