PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Northeastern field hockey team (1-4, 0-0 CAA) fell 3-1 on the road at Brown (4-0, 0-0 Ivy) today, Sep. 11, at Goldberger Family Field in Providence, R.I.

Brown got the scoring started early on with 9:32 remaining in the first quarter and held the lead into the second quarter.

Emmy Stubbs got the answer for the Huskies on an assist from Kate Blaisdell early in the second quarter. Stubbs is leading the Huskies with four goals in her first year of collegiate play.

The Bears took the lead back with six minutes remaining in the half and held a 2-1 lead into the halftime break.

With 17 seconds to go in the third quarter the Bears added on another one to provide the 3-1 final.
The Huskies will return home for a matchup with Maine on Sunday, Sep. 18 at 12 p.m. The contest will be broadcast on NESN+.
