Northeastern Faces Holy Cross on the Road Wednesday

BOSTON - The Northeastern men's soccer team (2-2-3) travels to Worcester this Wednesday, September 21st for a non-conference match with the Holy Cross Crusaders (3-4-0) at 6 P.M. on ESPN+.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
1. FAMILIAR FOES: The Huskies are 4-1-0 in their last four games with Holy Cross, with an all-time record of 18-11-1 against the Crusaders. Both teams are coming into the week off of weekend conference losses. The Huskies took down Holy Cross in their 2021 meeting by a score of 3-1.
2. SOLID SEPTEMBER START: Northeastern began the month of September with a four-game unbeaten streak, with wins against Elon and Harvard, and draws against Quinnipiac and Drexel. The Huskies are 2-1-2 in the month of September, 1-1-1 in conference play.
3. NOT OVER 'TIL IT'S OVER: Over half of Northeastern's goals this season (7/12, 58%) have been scored when facing a deficit of one goal or more. In three of their last four games, the Huskies have tallied four goals in the 79th minute or later, to either tie the game or take the lead for the win. The Huskies are 1-0-2 in those three games.

The Huskies wrap up a short road stint this Saturday, September 24 as they face new CAA foe Stony Brook at 4 PM on FloFC.
