After a scoreless first quarter, the Catamounts got on the board with 5:46 left in the first half to take a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.

With the game winding down, Northeastern pulled goaltender Jonna Kennedy with just under two minutes. Vermont would get a penalty corner opportunity and convert on the open net to cement the 2-0 result.

Northeastern and Vermont both had three shots on goal, and the Huskies held a 4-3 edge in penalty corner attempts.
