BOSTON— Coming off a 6-0 victory over Boston University to open 2023, the No. 7/8 Northeastern women's hockey team will host Boston College and Maine this coming weekend. The Huskies will face the Eagles on Friday, Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. and will then take on the Black Bears on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- PARDON OUR FRENCH: Graduate student Chloé Aurard was named the Hockey East Player of the Week after posting a four-point performance against the Terriers off one goal and three assists. She reached the 100-assist milestone during the game, on her second assist. Aurard entered the top-five in career Hockey East scoring with 136 points. Aurard's six power-play goals on the season rank tied for the third-best mark in the NCAA. She has 32 points off 12 goals and 20 assists this season.
- FOUR WHEEL DRIVE: Graduate student Alina Mueller, senior Katy Knoll, Aurard and graduate student Maureen Murphy are four of the top five leading scorers in Hockey East play. Mueller has a league-best 27 points in 18 conference games, while Knoll leads all players with 14 goals. Aurard has posted 25 points, the second-best mark in conference and Murphy has tallied 21 points in just 13 league games for the fifth-best mark.
- OUT OF TOWNERS: Northeastern will close out two Hockey East series this weekend against the Eagles and Black Bears. The Huskies previously defeated BC 4-0 and 2-0 and went 1-1 against Maine in Orono. Hannah Bilka is Boston College's leading scorer with 28 points off 10 goals and 18 assists. Her 22 conference points are the fourth-best mark in Hockey East. Maine's is led by Luisa and Lilli Welcke, who are tied to lead the Black Bears with 15 points each.
Northeastern will next hit the road to take on Merrimack on Friday, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m.
